CNY Workers' Rights Center

The Workers’ Rights Center can provide education on rights at the work place or on the job site, from wages and benefits to health and safety issues. With exposure to hazardous materials during construction work, it is necessary for workers to know the dangers of the materials they are handling and proper methods of handling those materials. The Workers’ Rights Center is also interested in issues which affect working families and communities. As green jobs continue to grow as an industry in Central New York, it is important that not only training but actual jobs should be made available to communities struggling with un- and underemployment.
