Organization goals regarding green job advocacy
Le Moyne College staff, students and faculty are committed to issues of environmental sustainability on the campus, and we have been actively pursuing information and trying to formulate internal policies as a first step. We are also very interested in learning more about the issue of green jobs and how LMC Le Moyne College can be a part of this move in two major aspects: (1) as an institution of higher education which can help to provide this training, and as a Catholic, Jesuit College committed to justice and as an institution which conducts scientific research ; and (2) as a major employer in the Central New York area.

Le Moyne has not yet taken any official advocacy positions on this issue, but we are open to the idea and interested in learning more.
