Hi all,

This coming Saturday Morning April 16 from 9am to noon the youth going to camp will be doing a cleanup along Hovey Street on the Southwest side of Syracuse.

We encourage parents/guardians to join us for this event but in case you can't please make sure your child is:

at 9am dropped off at Hovey Street (Hovey runs along Onondaga Creek and is a short connector street between Midland Avenue and South Avenue. (Currently the road at South and Castle is blocked)
at noon picked up at 341 Midland Avenue Community Garden between Tallman and Taylor Streets. The garden is opposite my house which is 340 Midland Avenue.

Description of the morning:
From 9 to 11:15 am we will pick up trash along Onondaga Creek & Hovey Street. At 11:15 am we will walk two blocks to 341 Midland Avenue Community Garden. At the garden we will have refreshments and talk about the possibilities to make Onondaga Creek on Hovey Street something that would enhance the community.

I will be calling everyone in the next day or so to confirm that you got this message.
